Awake sleeper is a composite of ideas, articles, thoughts and opportunities with a goal of igniting and sustaining passion for living a Godly life, run by Jeremy and Heather McCool.

We want to give other Christians outlets, ideas, sparks to keep their passion ignited. Our hope is to Awake Sleepers. To shake people up and give them what they need to continue growing in faith and love. In our struggle to arise from the dead we have found our passion. Our passion is to think about, research, and oraganize ways for Christians, such as ourselves, to continue growing, to not fall back asleep. To see other people find their very own ministries. To see other people shine for Christ just as he shines on you.

We have been given free time, free resources, passions, youth, health and access to computers. Our hope is to see all of us used for the body of Christ.

Why Put All This on the Internet?

We have been given ideas, and we've prayerfully considered each one. We also felt called to remove countless distractions in our lives leaving a big gaping hole of time and resources. After amassing too many ideas to easily remember we decided it was high time to step out in faith and get moving. The first, and only one to come to fruition so far is our bible study BC 1, which we consider a big success and is a great encouragement to us.

As we move through trying each of these ideas out on friends and church members, we hope to spread the word about this blog. We are hoping other people who also have a heart for awakening sleepers will want to help out or contribute their own ideas. Our hope is not for this blog to gain momentum, but for each idea encased in it to come to fruition and so aid in the spiritual growth of the people involved. We are hopeing this blog will help organize us while we attempt to follow in Jesus' footsteps.
